Pimm's Cup and The Tripper Trapper

I met my wonderful friend Tony while traveling in Brazil. He and 6 of his friends made the journey from the UK to Burning Man. They came with 16 bottles of Pimm's and dressed as proper English ladies and gentlemen. White Victorian lace for the ladies, white jodhpurs and waist coats for the men and white gloves and linen parasols all around. A stylish group. Every afternoon they took their finery, complete with serving table and chairs out to the Burning Man and served Pimm's Cups. If you've never had one I highly suggest you try it. It is an herbaceous liquor served with lots of fruit and mint. Yummy.

Next for the Tripper Trapper. Our ever-witty friend Hugh came up with the name for this art installation. It is essentially a huge series of balls that are lit with changing colors. People laid on the ground underneath the sculpture to look into the lights while wearing 3-D glasses. Pretty impressive. Luckily I didn't find myself 'trapped' as some of the trippers did but it was mighty fun to visit another dimension, even if just for a minute or two.

Here is a short video of the Tripper Trapper:
