Sisters Who Swing And Various Other Oddities
Dear old dad taught me how to rotate video (thanks, pops!). Sisters who swing together...well you know the rest.
It doesn't look like it from the footage (which is kinda dark) but we are soaring high overhead in a saloon at Burning Man. Kristin and I were extra-lucky to have an Ozzy Osbourne song (Crazy Train) as our personal swinging soundtrack. I'm a metal head through and through - love Ozzy.
Alyssa is pictured at the piano bar of the Galactic hotel at Burning Man. The place is unbelievable - a labyrinth of Bedouin style tents. Two main lobbys with a fully hosted bar (including ice which is hard to come by in the desert), seating areas, art on the walls, carpet on the floors - simply amazing. Rumor has it the guy behind this camp is a big-time movie producer. They have 6 or so themed rooms and each day they hold a drawing to select lucky winners to stay the night. Near the piano bar Jay met Father Time and became quite smitten. I think the feeling was mutual. He is not on stilts - he really is that tall.
Later we boarded an art car that was a giant ship. You'll see Jay having her 'Titanic' moment in the crow's nest. We also enjoyed the music from a flaming marching band - yes he played the tuba while it was en fuego.
